The Ocean at the End of the Lane: A Novel - Neil Gaiman Neil Gaiman's writing is so readable and comfy, despite having terrifying scenes at times. This story could almost have been published for children, with the exception of one scene, and the fact that the main story is sandwiched by an adult's perspective, looking back on his childhood. I liked the creativity and drama of the story and how the impossible was explained and made sense.I'm perplexed by the person on the cover, though, who doesn't look like the narrator or Lettie.
