I liked how Cassia and Ky's stories progressed in Crossed, and thought the setting was well-described. The love story was sweet but realistically not perfect. Anyone who loves words and art will appreciate the hole that the Society has created in their world. My only complaint is that the ending wasn't much of a cliffhanger, but I'll probably finish out the trilogy regardless. And sometimes I had to go back to the beginning of the chapter to see who the narrator currently was.
