A good choice for older teens looking for an adventure, not-quite thriller story. The lives of two teens with troubled pasts are intertwined after one of them witnesses a crime of sorts. Somewhat suspenseful, but not really a page-turner for me. Also, I question how realistic parts of it are. For instance, would Niven really not have tracked Brent down after he escaped? He knew his name. It seems unlikely he'd let him slip away like that.
